Carrie and her babies (Elvis, Hank & Dolly) came from Carriere, MS, where Carrie and her husbun were picked up by another rescue from the pound. Unfortunately within days Carrie had babies, so the whole gang made their way here to be spayed and find new homes in Sept 2008!Hank and Elvis had a bad bout of sibling rivalry as they grew up despite being neutered, so Hank and his sister Dolly now reside together without Elvis. They get along well generally but once in a while Hank will chase Dolly if they're out playing in the ex-pen. Both use the litterbox very well. Hank is the bolder one, not usually seeking out attention but likes it once he's got it. He does fine being picked up. *Hank & Dolly must be adopted together*Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue asks a $50 adoption fee per rabbit, or $75 for a pair. We strongly recommend indoor homes for our adopted pets. All rabbits are now tattooed 'MHR' in the ear (whie under anesthesia) and are spayed/neutered before they are adopted unless our veterinarian recommends against it because of age or illness. Each adopted pet comes with an adoption certificate and packet, as well as an adoption basket with a supply of their current diet and a toy.
