Carrie and her babies (Elvis, Hank & Dolly) came from Carriere, MS, where Carrie and her husbun were picked up by another rescue from the pound. Unfortunately within days Carrie had babies, so the whole gang made their way here to be spayed and find new homes in Sept 2008!Hank and Elvis had a bad bout of sibling rivalry as they grew up despite being neutered, so Elvis now lives alone with a little scar above his eye. He can be a bit cage aggressive if you reach into his cage to get his stuff, but if you reach directly at him he throws his nose in the air to be petted. :) Outside of his cage he is fine, and allows you to hold him and pet him though he doesn't seek out attention. He's a very pushy rabbit, but a very fun rabbit, especially when he performs his binkies in the ex-pen! He uses his litterbox well.Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue asks a $50 adoption fee per rabbit, or $75 for a pair. We strongly recommend indoor homes for our adopted pets. All rabbits are now tattooed 'MHR' in the ear (whie under anesthesia) and are spayed/neutered before they are adopted unless our veterinarian recommends against it because of age or illness. Each adopted pet comes with an adoption certificate and packet, as well as an adoption basket with a supply of their current diet and a toy.
