Basil came to MHRR in July 2008 from the EBR Pound.Basil is a young adult that is a timid at first, but likes affection. He poops in a general area, and if given a large enough litterbox, will make it all in the box. :) He can be playful, but takes a minute or two to feel comfortable enough to 'let loose.' He was tried once with a spayed female rabbit, but didn't want a bun-wife, so he will need to be an only rabbit.Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue asks a $50 adoption fee per rabbit, or $75 for a pair. We strongly recommend indoor homes for our adopted pets. All rabbits are now tattooed 'MHR' in the ear (while under anesthesia) and are spayed/neutered before they are adopted unless our veterinarian recommends against it because of age or illness. Each adopted pet comes with an adoption certificate and packet, as well as an adoption basket with a supply of their current diet and a toy.
