Carrie and her babies (Elvis, Hank & Dolly) came from Carriere, MS, where Carrie and her husbun were picked up by another rescue from the pound. Unfortunately within days Carrie had babies, so the gang made their way here to be spayed and find new homes in Sept 2008!Carrie can be territorial about her cage, but she can be an absolute love muffin too! She is an independent girl who likes treats and being petted sometimes, and has fairly good litterbox habits. She does not mind dogs as long as they aren't close to her - she does fine with my dog running around under her cage which is on a shelf, but is terrified if she is on ground-level in an ex-pen and the dog comes around.Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue asks a $50 adoption fee per rabbit, or $75 for a pair. We strongly recommend indoor homes for our adopted pets. All rabbits are now tattooed 'MHR' in the ear (while under anesthesia) and are spayed/neutered before they are adopted unless our veterinarian recommends against it because of age or illness. Each adopted pet comes with an adoption certificate and packet, as well as an adoption basket with a supply of their current diet and a toy.
