Sponge/commercial salvage boat is looking for a NON SMOKING diver to go out on 12 to 16 day trips. diver will be working in 35-50ft with visibility as little as 10ft. successful. diver will be wearing a 52lb Miller commercial weight belt with attached surface supplied airline working 1.5 to 2 hr shifts depending on depth.(if you’re not in shape don't bother). successful applicant WILL NOT be over 205 lbs on 6'+/- size frame. this is year round work. I AM A PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED COMMERCIAL DIVER AND ALL ASPECTS OF MY OPERATION ARE COMMERCIAL BASED. THE FOLLOWING SAFETY RULES WILL BE ADHERED TO: 1) NAVY DIVE TABLES WILL NOT BE VIOLATED BY EVEN ONE MINUTE 2) A BAILOUT BOTTLE WILL BE WORN 3) NO DRUGS - ANY VIOLATION OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE RETURN TO THE DOCK. successful applicant MUST HAVE boat handling experience on boats up to 40ft. references and/or verification of skills may be required. background/police check may be conducted. successful applicant may be a 1099 subcontractor and will SIGN A "HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT", standard in the commercial diving business. successful applicant will be ready to leave IMMEDIATELY on trip.
